THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is divinely inspired by God, and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. We believe that in it are the principles by which we are to live and the measure for our faith and doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]

THE TRINITY
We believe in one true God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We also believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was sent to this earth to redeem humanity from sin. He was crucified, died and buried, resurrected, ascended to heaven and now seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is true God and true man.

He is coming again.
2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. John 10:30 I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].” Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

SALVATION
We believe that salvation involves the redemption and transformation of the total man, and is available freely to all who believe in Jesus Christ. There is no salvation apart from the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as Lord.

John 3:16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the believer’s death to the power and bondage of sin and subsequent resurrection to newness of life in Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:21 Corresponding to that [rescue through the flood], baptism [which is an expression of a believer’s new life in Christ] now [a] saves you, not by removing dirt from the body, but by an appeal to God for a good (clear) conscience, [demonstrating what you believe to be yours] through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Acts 22:16   Now, why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name [for salvation].’ Colossians 2:12 having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God, [as displayed] when He raised Christ from the dead.

COMMUNION
We believe that in the taking of Communion, we remember incomparable the love of God that was extended towards us in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.

John 6:35 Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually]. Luke 24:30 And it happened that as He reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. Luke 22:19-20 and when He had taken bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20  And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood. Matthew 26:26-28 Now as they were eating Jesus took bread, and after [a] blessing it, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27  And when He had taken a cup and [b] given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28  for this is My blood of the [new and better] covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many [as a [c] substitutionary atonement] for the forgiveness of sins.

THE KINGDOM
We believe in the sovereign rule, reign and authority of God in the life of believers. We believe that the Kingdom of God is within us and is manifested on earth as we faithfully obey Christ and His teachings Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [a] will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you lose [permit, declare lawful] on earth [b] will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Matthew 12:28   But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you [before you expected it]. Daniel 7:27 Then the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints (believers) of the Most High; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.’ Psalm 103:19 The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all [the universe]. John 3:5 Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.
